Born in Pune, just a kid armed with endless stash of chocolates. Most of my early years were spent mastering the fine art of causing chaos—especially during nap time.
School was fun, mostly because of cricket during breaks and the joy of finishing tiffin before class started. I wasn't exactly the top scorer in class, but on the cricket field, I ruled (or at least I thought I did).
10th-grade board exams felt like the biggest challenge ever... until I realized life had bigger tests coming. Celebrated by escaping to Manali, Himachal Pradesh.
Passed 12th grade and entered the world of CA preparation—a land where weekends don't exist, and the dining table quietly turned into my study headquarters. Cleared CA Foundation (first attempt) and felt invincible for a week. Also learned Muay Thai because why not? Wanted to kick like Bruce Lee... ended up with sore legs instead.
Cleared CA Intermediate (first attempt) and thought, "Wow, maybe I'm actually good at this?" 7 exemptions were proof that hard work and some exam-day luck can do wonders.
Started the year scaling Chandrashila Summit—every step felt rewarding. Later, joined Khandelwal Jain & Associates, a 50-year-old reputed CA firm, as an intern. Got assigned to audit a real estate giant, where I learned two crucial lessons:
Cracked CFA Level 1, landing in the top 10 percentile globally—felt that I unlocked a new level in life. Took a 3-day ocean surfing course at Mulki, Karnataka. Learned that falling into water repeatedly is surprisingly fun. Surfing taught me patience and how to laugh at myself—a skill I badly needed. Graduated as a Bachelor in Commerce from Pune University.
Finished my 3-year articleship and cleared CA Final (first attempt, 7 exemptions). Joined Deloitte in April 2024 as an Assistant Manager. The corporate world was fast-paced and intense, but something inside me wanted more than PowerPoint decks and review notes.
Left Deloitte—to reset, rebuild and rethink. Learned to code, built websites for myself, Dad's law practice and few small projects. Building things from scratch felt far more exciting than reviewing balance sheets.
Studying for CFA Level 2, but leaving room for surprises. Plans? Still evolving. Figuring it out is part of the adventure.
